Ports Collection を使って、アプリケーションをインストールしようとした ら、以下のようなメッセージが表示されたでござる。

どうやら、システムのバージョンを上げないといけないようでござる。まず、 現在のバージョンを確認してみたでござる。
# uname -srm FreeBSD 13.0-RELEASE amd64
13.0-RELEASE でござった。 13.0-RELEASE は、 13.1-RELEASE が出た三ヶ月 後までは保守されるということになっていたようでござる。 13.1-RELEASE は 2022 年 05 月に公開されていたようでござる。

次に、 FreeBSD をアップグレードするには、どうすればよいのか調べてみた でござる。以下を参照すればよいようでござる。
freebsd-update コマンドを実行してみたでござる。

これで、 13.0-RELEASE-p13 になったようでござる。ここで、念の為に、再起 動しておいたでござる。再起動後に uname コマンドを実行してみると以下の ような結果になったでござる。

13.0-RELEASE から 13.1-RELEASE にアップグレードしてみたでござる。

再起動して、再度 freebsd-update install を実行せねばならぬようでござる。 再起動して、まず、 uname コマンドを実行してみたでござる。

13.1-RELEASE-p2 になっているようでござる。再度、 freebsd-update を実行 してみるでござる。
